Some people say there is no difference between a 6 or 10 megapixel camera. well there is, compare the pictures on this blog and you will see a big difference...

Lovely eyes, and you caught it very well.
People always get confused with the resolution and megapixels available on digital cameras:
There is no difference in 6 Meg and 10 Meg when viewing on a 1024 x 768 pixel monitor. You can't see anymore pixels per inch than what you have available on 1024x768 even if you have photographs from a 32 Meg camera. The only difference you will see is when you are actually trying to print. So when you talk about resolution it is two part one: on screen as displayed and second: on print.
Again jumping from a 6 meg camera to a 10 meg camera won't double the size of your print size! you need to go to atleast 24 meg camera to be able to get a double size print. Ken Rockwell is one person who demystifies these jargons easily as below:)

@Babul Bhatt: yes thats almost correct. But i can see on screen the difference between my old D100 and the newer D200 nikon DSLR. I use bot cameras side by side with the same lenses. Look at the pictures in my portfolio, compare and you will see it for yourself. and on a print there is a huuuuuuuuuuuuugh difference. thanks for your comments
